The Apollo Project page was going to be a timeline of all the Apollo missions, so I first needed to prepare the content for each mission. I used these cards for each mission, which resembled document files which was a light but effective aesthetic for this specific page. I also prepped images for each mission.

Next I created a wireframe of when the timeline and content was going to sit, and began layering up with same visual aspects as before.

The finished screen was simple but worked well I thought. I liked that it only gave light detail about each mission, rather than overloading on content. This was more of an extra page rather than a whole feature of the prototype so didn’t need too much content.

For functionality, I used masks and arrow buttons which would move from point to point along the timeline. It would also slide along once it went to a point which was off screen, which was achieved easily through multiple screens and smart animation.

With this page finished, I moved onto the Launch of the main experience.
