I knew from the start the influence page was going to be more of a static page, so was able to speed up the development process for this page. I stated by creating a simple wireframe using the same grid established from the home page to maintain consistency.

After creating the wireframe, I wanted to create a carousel of images to show relevant images. This was a surprisingly complex component, but functioned well when created. Because this page was more focussed on the influence the Apollo mission had on the work of Gerry Anderson, I was using images from his work, and gave a separate tab for each of the big projects of his.

With the central component of this screen complete, I built it into the wireframe, along with the content and a Title using a drawn font taken from the Annual I had looked at for inspiration.

I sort of had mixed feelings about this page. I did think it fitted really well into the aesthetic, but at this point I was somewhat doubting the longevity and far I could push the aesthetic. I wanted to push on with it though, as I thought it might start to look better once screen were linked up and it came together.
Now, I started work on the Apollo Program Page.
