I really enjoyed this project. Getting to push my visual design as far as possible was so fun and a really satisfying design process. I loved getting to build a narrative experience and make something immersive and engaging.

One thing I found really interesting in this project was how much it changed for me through the development. I’ve left way more on the cutting room floor than I ever had for a project and am really glad I did. Although there was probably a whole project left in that original home screen, my finished design is something I think is far more cohesive and still honouring the original style.

I was also really pleased to be able to explore and learn a lot of new things about the software I use. This project saw me using Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, Procreate, and Illustrator, and I learnt a lot of new things in each. Even if I didn’t use what I made in each in the final design, it still allowed me to explore all these software more and experiment with different styles.

Overall I’m really proud of what I created here and am pleased I’ve learnt so much about narrative design and my own visual design skills.
