I’m fairly familiar with InDesign so it was mainly just a matter of exporting the assets from each page and resetting the type in ID.
My biggest issue came when I was trying to export the file. The first issues was that the colours looked washed out when I exported which was due to the file being set to print rather than web. Setting it to web allowed me to retain the RGB colours rather than the CMYK versions. The CMYK versions did look nice, which I was pleased with as it meant my work would work for print, but for screen I felt the RGB version was best.
The other main issue was around some of the images when exported to an EPUB format. EPUBs don’t support transparency effects like multiply, so I have to use photoshop to set the images to multiply against the backgrounds on their own, then export them and replace them in ID. It also meant having to fiddle a lot with the grain texture, as this would appear way to strong when overlayed. In the end I had to use no effect but with the opacity set lower to compensate.

With the E-Book finished, I could now take to class for critique.
