Having compiled my research and setting out what I wanted to accomplish with my brand, I began to work on the brands development and design.
I knew my brand values would be incredibly important in creating a successful brand so I began brainstorming words I wanted to be associated with my brand. After this, I grouped the words that were synonyms and selected my top three from each group.
I then isolated my favourites and narrowed them down once again to get my five brand values.
Secure - When you letter anyone influence and effect you’re money security is always something you want to feel. Any feeling of insecurity could cause the brand to fail as there would be no trust associated with the brand.
Helpful - Banking and Economics are confusing and complicated. I want the brand to promote itself as a helpful organisation that is willing to explain and guide it’s users through an often predatory and complex ecosystem.
Accessible - Banking and Savings can often be seen as something only for the well off in society. I want to make young people aware that there are absolutely options for saving available to them which could massively benefit them.
Stability - With the current economic climate, stability is highly valued. I want this brand to promote that financial stability is totally possible by setting it up at their age.
Optimism - This brand will always be looking forward to whats next. Our aim is to take some of the financial pressure off the futures of our users.
I was really pleased with my selected brand values as I believe that they encapsulate everything I want to portray through my brand and I feel this has been a great start to this part of the project.
