Our group decided to do our presentation of “The Modernism Movement in America” as we all had a collective interest in the topic and we wanted to learn more about it. We began be each of us researching the topic on our own to find what parts stand out to us that could be good talking points. After each of our group conducted our own research in week 4, on The Modernism Movement in America, we met to pull together our research and divide the presentation up. We decided we would each be responsible for a roughly 2 minute portion of the presentation and we each have a specific part of the movement to talk about. We decided on the following sections:

My part of the presentation was on the beginning of the movement and history. Throughout this module I have had a real fascination for how movements transition into each other. Previous to learning design history, I had known about certain movements however getting to see how one movement becomes another was amazing. Being able to see design history as continually changing gradient has been one of my favourite things so this part of the presentation was perfect for me.

I began by breaking down my research from week 4 on this topic into its key parts.

After the breakdown, I went into more detail to find the key points within each point.
