With an initial idea established, I now wanted to get a potential structure planned out. This would help me stay focussed, as well as raise possible issues I might come into when writing my dissertation.
Being the first time I have written a paper of this length, I decided to start by using a technique that has worked really well for me in the past. In short, I give Chat GPT a couple of examples and ask it to suggest a general structure, along with word counts for each section. If the examples aren’t the same word count as my word count, I just ask it to scale it accordingly.
