I needed to create some entirely new pages for the E-Book. These were more embellishments rather than pages of content.
The first set of pages were pages with photos arranged to the grid and set to multiply. These would be really useful to pair with one-off pages and it was nice to include some of the real photography.
The take off spread was mainly created so I could show the transposition manoeuvre. This was an animation in the prototype so I showed the key frames which I felt worked really well. I also included the rocket in sections and a more detailed diagram of the orbital paths.
These two screens were for the pre OSS page and helped to transition between the dark touchdown page and the bright OSS page. They are quite a departure from the rest of the visuals but so is the OSS page, so though it worked quite well.
The JH spread was similar to the TO spread, using some of the diagrammatic elements from the original screen and some new.
The last spread was a diagram of the landing capsule. I liked this a lot especially with the Eurostile type and blue background making a very old infographic feel.
