Speaker: A
So yeah, just before we start, this isn’t really a structured interview or anything. It’s more just a discussion about public transport and how you use it. It should be about 15 or 20 minutes.
There’s no right or wrong answers — just whatever comes to mind. And yeah, if you can just talk things through rather than short answers, that’d be great.
Speaker: B
Yeah, okay.
Speaker: A
So first off, could you talk a bit about how often you use public transport and what kinds you’d normally take?
Speaker: B
Not very often, to be honest. I mostly drive.
I’d only really get a bus or a train if I had to — like if I was going into the city and parking would be a nightmare, or if I was going out drinking.
Speaker: A
And what do you generally think of public transport services?
Speaker: B
I mean… they’re okay, I guess. I just don’t find them very easy.
It always feels like I’m not fully sure if I’m doing the right thing.
Speaker: A
Would your journeys usually be single-step or involve multiple parts?
Speaker: B
Usually single-step. I try to avoid changing if I can.
If I have to change, I get a bit stressed about missing it.
