Fitt’s Law is a really important part of UX Design and something that could be really important for me to consider when working on a large project like this one. Fitt’s Law is all about button sizes and placement and is something that is easy to overlook but is incredibly important. I think in this module it will be particularly important for me to consider this, as I will most likely be designing for very specific users who may have certain needs around physical accessibility as I’m doing work in the health industry.

I’m interested to see how the application of Fitt’s Law changes going forward, with the likes of Vision Pro introducing really effective eye tracking. In an OS like Vision OS, time to target is practically instant as it uses precise eye tracking to navigate. I think it will be really interesting to see what challenges relating to Fitt’s Law will arise with new navigation like this.
