The critique went really well, with very few changes to be made. The main change was around the accessibility of some of the colour contrasts in text. This is something I was aware of and had probably pushed the contrast a lot, so was expecting to have this raised. To get around this, I just darkened the background blocks around the text, however, could only go so far as to maintain the visual aesthetic. When I couldn’t make it any darker, I added a second layer of text behind the text, with a black layer blur applied, making the text stand out just a bit more. Overall I was pleased I was able to make the text more legible without compromising on style.
With the changes complete, my prototype was now finished.
