To build out more brand elements, I just started to put together my brand guidelines doc. This was a good opportunity to experiment with the brand and imagery.
I found that the logo could be used as a header for other words in some areas, with the stripes adapting to different characters.
I also started using these station style numbers for lists and numbered content.

Naturally, the stops on a line lend themselves for informative use, such as bullet points in slides. I think this could have a lot of application throughout the brand.

I had already chosen the stripe pattern as a primary pattern, but also created two more patterns, a dot and “+” pattern. These are really useful for adding texture and depth to design elements.

I also had a go at some illustrations, inspired by some of the work I looked at in my mood board. This was a fairly simple style, but had some funky stylistic bits that made them more unique. These were a good start but I’ll wait until after wireframing when I know what illustrations I need before creating more.

As a final step, I pulled together a style tile of all the brand elements. I feel this all works really well and is identifiable without overshadowing other brands that have to live within it.

After this, I continued to pull together the rest of the brand guidelines document.
